September 2005 : "Hi-RISERS BACK AT SAXON STUDIOS" : Rochester's Hi-Risers are at it again! Their successful stint earlier this year at Saxon with Eddie Angel, resulted in the ultra-gear "Eddie Angel Meets The Beatles" CD on the Spinout label. Now the Hi-Risers are back preparing their latest, "Rockin' Spree" for a late 2005 release. Also, the boys will be recording with Kaiser George this autumn at Saxon Studios!
February 2004: "Hi-RISERS NEW CD RECORDED AT SAXON" : Rochester's Hi-Risers have completed recording their 4th full length CD "That Rock & Roll Beat!" Saxon Studios! Acording to Dave Anderson at Saxon, this is their rockinest set yet!
January 2004: "WHOLE LOTTA SHAKIN, COM-PILE-ATION" released! : The compilation featuring artists from all over the world, plus a slew of local artists, was mastered right here at SAXON STUDIOS! 12/20/03: "GARAGE-CHESTER 2003" a success! : The Franks, Riviera Playboys, and McFadden's Parchute with the Quitters rocked the Bug Jar on Sat. Dec. 20th. The most pleasant suprise of the evening were St. Philip's Escalator, the latest on Rochester's Garage-Psych scene! They covered Blue Cheer, The Chocolate Watchband, Cream plus plenty of other freaky grooves-It was like Monterey '67!
10/25/03: FERTILITY RITE BROS. ON CD! The 1988-1989 recordings by Rochester's FERTILITY RITE BROTHERS are finally available on CD! Recorded at the "old" Jargon studios on Sidney Street,"The Fertility Rite Bros....At Last!" combines original FRB favorites like "I Got The Message" Pamela Dianne" and "It's People Like You" with covers by Iggy, The Ventures, Little Willie & the Adolescents, Bo Diddley & Motorhead! THE FERTILITY RITE BROS....."AT LAST!" finally available on JARGON CD's!
09/21/03: EMBROOKS show a rockin' sucess! : The room was full of energy on Friday night, Sept. 19th at Monty's Krown in Rochester; The Riviera Playboys opened up the show and the Embrooks did their best to channel the energy from a 1967 Who concert ! Rock 'n' Roll, baby!
