History

Galactic Harbour Officially got its start in the summer of 2001 in Rochester, NY. It began as a loose circle of musicians who have all played together in one band or another since 1988 (Mind Furnace, Headstash, Flesh Marbles, Floggin Catatonics, Chico Zasfurious Solo Project, to name a few). As time went on, a core line-up started to take shape, and the resulting trio is now the main force behind Galactic Harbour.

Sound

Galactic Harbour's sound varies from all-out fuzz-drenched psychedelic guitar scum rock to strange, almost extra-terrestrial space jazz. Sometimes loud, raw, and abrasive; sometimes laid back and just plain weird...

Releases

Opium Sunrise

This CD shows more of G.H.'s jazzier side. It is a ride through 8 tracks of space jazz weirdness, with mind bending rants and psychedelic fuzzed-out guitar. From the rant n' rave lunacy of Put Down of a Loser to the trippy hawkwindish instrumental Ragu Raga. Buckle up for a warped ride through the harbour...

In the Works

Galactic Harbour is currently working on their 2nd CD - untitled as of now, and a 7" single to be released later this year.
